Ambrika Jagdish Yadav, a certified ICC Level 1 coach, has always been driven by hard work and determination, values deeply rooted in his upbringing as part of a farmer’s family. After graduating from Mumbai University, Ambrika's passion for cricket took off during his school years, where he excelled as a right-handed batter and wicket-keeper.

His playing career includes notable achievements like participating in the U19 MCA summer camp tournament, competing in the Kanga League, and performing in corporate tournaments. Over the past six years, he has transitioned into a coaching role, where his ambition is to keep improving and eventually coach at the highest levels. His coaching goals are clear—consistent growth and honest effort to reach new heights.

Ambrika’s coaching philosophy fosters a learning environment that encourages innovation and decision-making among players. He emphasises the technical aspects of cricket—batting, bowling, fielding, and wicket-keeping—while also focusing on team management and leadership. His approach to developing individual athletes starts by understanding their strengths and weaknesses, followed by crafting long-term plans that enhance their skills and mental toughness.

A firm believer in teamwork and leadership, Ambrika also prioritizes his players’ physical and mental well-being. He promotes regular fitness training and a positive mindset, aiming to help athletes embrace both the highs and lows of their journey.

With plans to achieve ICC Level 2 certification, Ambrika aims to lead a zone at CricKingdom Academy within the next three years while continuing to grow as a coach and mentor.
